SRT vs. 427R
Interesting video of a stock Challenger SRT drag racing a Mustang 427R.

RE: SRT vs. 427R
No, being a manual has little to do with it. The Mustang 427 has 427 hp at the crank and probally around 450LBS of tq. At the wheel the mustang is putting down roughly 375 rwhp and 396 rwtq. On the other hand the Challenger is putting down a little less hp and tq. Another factor is the Mustang weighs less and has a lower final gear. The challenger has a 3.06 and the mustang as a 3.31, 3.55 or a 3.73

RE: SRT vs. 427R
The Challenger actually has 3.02 final, not that .04 is gonna make that much of a difference. He must have been trying to shift himself or did something else wrong becuase he had a better reaction time, and my lowest ET so far is 13.37 @ 105.06 , his was 13.7 @103

RE: SRT vs. 427R
The weight simply kills these cars. I have an SRT8 witch I love, so I not just throwing rocks. I am afraid the best cars to race with is going to be other challengers.
