Underwater Car!
What would you say if you could buy a Swiss concept convertible sports car that has a top speed of 77 mph and costs $1.5 million?
Overpriced???
Not really, this car, called the sQuba, goes on and UNDER the water (up to 30 feet deep). It is powered by an electric motor and has twin screws for propulsion in the water. The speed in the water is 3 mph on the surface and 1.8 mph under the water. The car, of couse is watertight and resistant to salt water.
Here is the video. You have to see it to believe it! [sm=interesting.gif]

RE: Underwater Car!
I know what you mean.
Did you see those two divers with "torpedos" blow past the car while it was underwater? Suppose they were "bad guys" out to get James Bond??
Also, what if the current on the water was over 3 mph, or over 1.8 mph while under the water...would the car just idle in place?? Very embarassing! []

I prefer that other car, I think it was called the aquada. It didn't go underwater but it was more of a boat/car as opposed to a submarine/car. I'm pretty sure it did over 3mph in the water too. . .A lot cheaper too.

Apparently it's coming out in 09 for $85,000. Pretty reasonable I'd say.
