Default Wrecked R/T

This Inferno Red R/T was involved in a very serious crash that totally destroyed the car. See:

Wow that makes me sick. Either this car was moving or a truck chewed it up and spit it out. I hope the driver was in better shape.

That is nasty! The front is just gone. Maybe a head on with something else larger, or a larger concrete bridge support? I hope the driver survived/recovers.

I had hope there for a while, clicking the pictures in order, because it looked like the compartment was in decent shape. Then we got to the pictures of the actual compartment that didn't look promising. Just makes one sick thinking about it.

I want to say possibly a pole at high speed, that would explain the crush of the whole left side in the way it is and the ripple effect on the back. It would also explain the crush of the roof on the left side as maybe the pole broke and fell against the roof, not completely collapsing on to it. The right side is untouched, for the most part, other then it collapsing to the left side. The passenger door looks completely untouched.

The only thing I can't really put together with it being a pole is the inside, and whatever that green piece of metal is. I'm not really sure a pole would cause that kind of damage on the inside either. Possibly a fire? Of course all observation and speculation. Just hope that whoever was in it survived.

I was thinking I could use a full size spare, and maybe a fix up project for next winter.

I think the car was hit while parked. If there were people in it the roof would have been cut off to get them out of it. Either way, it is a total mess and a grand shame.
