I am glad to see he is gone. He is so old.....will it make a differences or will another Fidel replace him.

Oddly, I'd read a long time ago that the original President Bush had intended to end the embargo if he would have gotten a second term. Instead, Clinton got elected, and Bill, of course, attempted to pattern himself after JFK -- who started the embargo. Now President Bush Jr. says the embargo will stay in place as long as he's in office. Probably, whoever gets elected next will wind up continuing it so as not to irritate the Cuban American community. I think it will be up to Raul Castro, or, more likely, whoever eventually replaces him, who will have to make the first move. All in all, it's been pretty much a joke. Old age did in Fidel, NOT the American embargo.

Bluntly, every country gets the government they deserve or are willing to tolerate.
