For the last time chrysler is not going to produce a new cuba.

 

I have my doubts. Why would anyone besides a person in Fidel's image be allowed to take over? Fidel wouldn't allow it while he is still alive. I personally would like to see the embargo lift as I think it is possible to let capitalism change things, besides the fact most other countries have no such embargoes and our embargo is doing very little to fix things. The only other way historically that a puppet will not take over is if the people have a revolution which at this point doesn't look very likely.

 

The way I see it and hear from the State Dept and all of the US government is that the embargo will be lifted once they become a more democratic society.. not a society ruled by a crazed out madman who was a decent baseball player a long time back.

 

That is probably the way things will turn out. I just hope that I'm wrong, and that a person just as bad as the crazed baseball player does NOT come into power but a person who believes in democracy does instead.
