In the wake of our burglary in January, I finally have a new notebook computer. I saw an Acer advertised at Best Buy for $359, so I went and bought it yesterday. It's amazing how empty life felt not having a computer at home.

Being without a computer for a week seems like a lifetime. Interestingly, lacking key components like a printer when you need one seems to have the same effect. I love my computer.

I was without my PDA where I get business phone calls and business emails for a week. I felt out of touch with the world but it sure was nice a peaceful.
