Default Chrysler emissions research

I rec'd letter from Chrysler asking to borrow my car for emissions research. Strictly otional. They want the car for 5 to 20 days and log about 75 miles. Will give loaner with full tank of gas and I get Challenger back with full tank, car wash and any needed improvements.

I think not, but thought I'd share the mail.

Good for you,all they want to do is give you a full tank of gas and a rental.Screw them.Let them pull one from there own inventory,or from a dealership.

Yeah, that's odd they'd want a "used" Challenger to experiment with when they have parking lots full of them outside the Brampton plant.

Default As in the word's of the Show Deal or No Deal . NO DEAL!!!

I wouldn't loan them my car . Maybe if they traded a new Black SRT 6 speed for my R/T for keeps.

Don't trust them, the Government is probably behind this.

Default Fun meter

With the way thing's are going If we are seen smiling too much driving our Challengers . The goverment will take them away . That no enjoyment allowed in this country now. I had a new two door Olds 88 in 78 that I had put some part's from a police package on to improve the handling . And the five spoke station wagon wheel's that where wider and stronger for bigger tires. Back then the Q Jet came with cap's to prevent tampering on adjustment's. The car would not run over 75 mph. I took the carb apart . Fuel float too low . I richened the jet's and changed the metering rod's . The car ran so much better . Better mpg also. I went through a test station for emmision's . They could not believe how clean the engine ran. The best they had ever tested I was told. They noticed the cap's off and the carb had been apart. I was also told if I lived in that county I could be fined for taking the cap's off the carb and tinkering with it. And if it had failed emmisions. GM would have been notified and a recall on the car. It hasn't gotten any better . We are told how to think and what to like and not like anymore.

No way I'm going to let anybody do research on any of my cars...that is of course if they are kind enough to make a payment on it and return it with a nice shiny supercharger on it! Two things I don't like big brother messing with and that is my cars and my guns....
