I went to Z-max dragway on Thurs. My son told me there were a few Camaro SSs there. I ran quite a few times and never did better than 14.1@99mph. Track was slick and driver was rusty. But the stock SS ran 14.00 flats and the modded one ran 13.4s. This R/T has a sub 13 in her but I can't seem to put it all together. I had lined up next to a 4th gen SS and had him off the line and through 2nd gear and on my way to a sub 13 when I shifted to 5th gear instead of 3rd. I did this several times that evening. I started to run consistant 14.1s but with wheel hop or mad spinning I decided to stop before I broke something. I even started in 2nd gear once and ran a 14.5. 10secdodge has my utmost respect for what he can do with a car. I will need better tires before I can get the traction I need for a really good run. Best 60' was 2.00 flat.

Thanks... I will be putting new tires on when these wear out. My son runs drag radials and can launch really hard. I rarely run this car on the strip and was only there for a quick jount down the 1/4 to see what she would do on this day.
