im just basing this opinion on the pistol grips found on the muscle cars...something that size...im dont have vast experience with firearms.

 

I changed out my shifter for the Hurst. I really like it. It has the white ball. But would have prefered the black ball. What happen is that I wanted to keep the stock knob, so I ordered the hurst shifter to be able to use the original knob. It was about $30 cheaper. Well they screwed up and sent me the more expensive one with the ball and chrome shift stick. I wish they screwed up and sent me the one with the black ball though, it would have matched the interior alot better. And after using it, I do like the ball knob better.

 

maybe you can pick up a cheap black ball on ebay?

or paint it?

 

I thought about the painting, but don't think that would work. Yeah, I have been looking on ebay. They are usually aroiund $30 plus shipping, then that defeats the purpose of feeling I got a killer deal. I also tried to find anyone that wanted to trade, but when people order the black, that is what they wanted.

If only they made a dark grey one or brushed nickel, that would be perfect. I will look more into getting the one I have painted or maybe I can find a die that would work. I think the paint would peel off and look tacky.

 

I think the smaller ones would be a little easier to control

 

E-body pistol grip would be perfect. Dark color. As soon as i get the car that will be my first mod.
