New RT-J as of last Saturday.....

Blk w/ 6sp

Had 04 Terminator Cobra Mustang, Challenger maybe a bit slower right out of the box. Everything else is way cooler & more advanced.

Couple of questions if you guys have time........

1. Understand there is resonator pipe, is removing it and replacing w/ regular tubing going to wake up the sound enough to be worth while?

2. Are there conservative mods to get close to the HP of an SRT8.

Over all the car is awesome and I was around for the original!!

Congratulations RT1... nad welcome to the forum. Sounds like you are rather enjoying your new ride. Any chance you have noticed a strange and irremoveable grin...

As for mods... might want to start with Cold Air Intake and Cat Back Exhaust. Simple bolt ons that can be fairly reasonable price wise, add some performance and give the car a nicer note.

Cheers! [sm=icon_cheers.gif]

Removed resonator and stock mufflers added magna-flows and mopar cai waiting on predator tuner to finish. It's worth removing resonator but depending on setup it may be a little noisier than used to! ENJOY THE RIDE I AM

Thanks for the welcome......

09hemirt4show,

Love the sound of the internal combustion engine but don't want too much drone.

What was the part number of the mufflers you installed?

Thanks and have a good weekend!

Hello RT1 , Love this new Challenger . I also have the 6 speed with 3.92 gear. No mod's yet . To pickup a drop in K&N in the morning . This is my 2nd Challenger R/T . The first was a new 71 340 . I see you have had some Mustang's. Every Shelby I see start's reving their engine. I came close to buying a Roush last year. But decided to wait for the Challenger R/T.
