Challenger R/T AWD
Since the Charger R/T can be ordered with AWD, why not offer it on the Challenger?
This option would be enough to make the purchase `wife approved'.
Our steep NH driveway makes it necessary to have at least one AWD vehicle, I'd trade in the H3.
I couldn't find any weight comparison on dodge.com, but I seem to remember it's only around 150 lbs more.

RE: Challenger R/T AWD
Not only is it a weight issue, but they would have to spend more money in R&D modifing the current AWD system to fit the Challenger. Maybe we will see one in future models. Possibly after the vert?

Hopefully, they put a stick in the 6 and take some sales from ford who currently are satisfying this market w no competition.

Looks like the weight difference would be around 199 lbs.
I compared the Magnum R/T and R/T AWD.
With a supercharger to bump it up to 500 hp, it would be like a half as powerful Bugatti Veyron.

i used to have a WRX that could out maneuver SLR mclarens and lambo AWD, out here in pebble beach, durring concourse i used to turn grins to frowns on people like us.

That would be a fun car though. My Subaru surprises a lot of people around and out of turns with the AWD.

RE: Challenger R/T AWD
People already think the Challenger is to heavy, AWD wouldn't help. But, I will say that it makes for a fun car vs. the same model without (Loved my Audi).
