Well here is my data that I registered in your registry and then the data that your Vinwin is showing totally different so something is screwed up My Von is 21968653 and my full Vin number is 2B3LJ54T89H520338 and your VinWin full report data says Von number E9044601 and vin number 2B3KA43D19H520388 and its for a Charger. My Von sheet printed out at and by the dealer when I placed my deposit says 2009 Challenger R/T in Hemi Orange . I think you made need some corrections or tweaking on the VinWin thingy but it is and will be a great thing for all of us, Thanks Fat cat[sm=gears.gif]
PS the von fits the my order sheet for a Challenger and the von number so VinWin maybe should be set up to read both Von and Vin or at least the whole Vin ?

It uses the same data as vinvision. It does indeed read your VIN from what you've listed next to your car on the registry. vinwin only needs your last 8, not the full 17 character VIN. Double check your VIN you've posted to the registry. I've yet to see it report incorrect data. The VIN you were provided may very well be for that Charger.

Ah, see. You typo'd it into the registry

The last 8 of your VIN (as you just posted) is: 9H520338
The last 8 of your VIN that you CURRENTLY have on the registry is: 9H520388

See the difference?

you have one too many 3's and one too little 8's. Correct that typo within the registry and you should be set. Though, your car isn't in D1 yet so vinwin won't show you anything yet =(

Brucer41, the scary thing was back 2 and 1/2 years ago I was headed out to a local Dodge dealer to buy a new Charger when my neighbor came over and showed me a copy of Road and Track magazine announcing the new Challenger. I never made it to the Dodge dealer and have waited and been trying all this time to own a new Challenger. When I saw that on the VinWin thingy I thought geeze what did I do , order a Charger by Mistake ? ARGHHHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh Thank the lord is was my dumb mistake and not for real!! PHEWWWwwwwww . But I'll tell you one thing , at 65 yrs old and after some 47 cars bought and at least 15 of them new cars I have never in my life had as much trouble and anguish buying a new car as I have had trying to get a Challenger. Dodge and Chrysler has really screwed things up big time in my book and I honestly think there is more than meets the eye here. Just to much damm secrecy in my book but I'll still wait it out awhile longer. Good luck to both of us and the many others waiting for their 2009'S, Fat Cat[sm=gears.gif]

fatcat, yessir understand it all. I have bought new cars every three years for the last 15 years or so. I have bought 4 from GM and one from Dodge, (well, counting this Challenger its two) and so far Dodge this time has been the sorriest excuse for a manufacturer that I have ever seen. I worked for Oldsmobile, Datsun, BMW and SAAB over the years and I have never ever ever seen such crap from any company such as this. My wife and I bought new cars (her Mustang GT and My Chev Avalanche) on the same day back in 05 (they were 06's) and we had a competition to see who would get their vehicle first. The two companies sent emails that seemed to be within a day or so of each other giving a full detail as to the process from order to arrival at the dealer ship. The funny thing was, we both got one starting at the order stage and we had full detail all the way. Not like Dodge and having to wait until D1 stage. But, wait we must if we want this sweetie! We can only complain as our previous brethern (08's) have done in their wait.

This is GREAT! My dealer called me this past Monday to say that it'd be here this Friday and now I can watch it (looks like it slipped to Monday, but what the heck my VANISHING POINT R/T will be here SOON!)
