Axel, I really wouldn't sell your Challenger. If anything, you should try and preserve it as much as possible for future re-sale / collector value. Obviously the SRTs are going to keep their value better than an R/T, but either way, many moons from now a HEMI powered Challenger is going to be something really special!

Assuming I get it, I would agree with you. However, I'll keep it in as good shape as possible, but I want to use it for fun in my lifetime. If I had children to pass it on to, I may sit it in the garage, but I want to enjoy something while it's here. You only live once, why keep it bottled up where the only way it's enjoyed is in the garage. Now if I had the money to get two, that would change everything.

This is all speculation of course because I don't even have the vehicle. I currently have the Mustang and I may never see the Challenger. It's been on order since Oct and that could be as far as it gets.

I like my Challenger how I like my Mustang, base with nothing more to weigh and slow it down. I have on order the R/T, inferno red with 6 speed manual. Nothing more.

Getting back to the topic, I don't think this is likely to happen currently. I think they will have some joint venture arrangements which can be a good thing as New Venture Gear was mutually beneficially while it lasted. It might be a good thing if they consider working on some platforms together in the future, but merging isn't a good idea.

Albeeno, a persons tastes are subjective. In my view the Challenger has superior interior as I prefer the quality of the leather in the Challenger to that of the Mustang. I prefer the pistol grip to the handle in the Mustang. I prefer the gauges in the Challenger to that of the Mustangs. I also find the Mustang to be small on the inside and when I'm not necessarily tall to begin with. The attempted retro look of the Mustang to me is a disappointment and this new models does not resolve that issue.

I would have to agree that this Mustang isn't dead on, but it's a lot closer then that thing they like to call a retro Camaro. And I agree, it's small inside. I stop there though. As you said, people's personal preferences. Just like I have to argue with my Uncle that the Challenger is dead on on the outside, though he disagrees, and the Camaro doesn't look like the old Camaro, and he disagrees with that also.
