Default RE: Costco Purchase Strategy?

ORIGINAL: zman

Not a freaking chance in hell that I will pay $10,000 over msrp for a new Chally, dont care how bad I want it, and I want one real bad. I'll just wait for the heat to die down or buy one a year or two later or used. For a company that's in termoil as they are, trying to soak us for an additional 10k is goin to piss off alot of potential buyers.
I understand what your saying, but its not the manufacture that adds the extra 10,000 to the MSRP, its the dealers who do this. Chrysler know this, but can't do anything about it. Well, they could, just say to the Dealers "If you mark any car above MSRP, we will cut you off". Well, they aren't going to do this, like cutting off the hand the feeds you.. I too will wait a couple of years to buy either a new one or used.
