RE: Who has physically seen the GT500, Camaro and Challenger?
Houston Texas, 4th largest city in the USA and in 2006 and 2007 car shows, there was not a Challenger. I could not freaking believe that. So I have yet to see one. I spoke to some Dodge personnel and they felt the same way as I did.
The Camaro was ugly, and that is being nice. I saw the coupe at the 2006 show and the vert at the 2007 show. I saw nothing that made me feel like it was going to be special.
The Shelby GT 500, saw one at the 2006 car show and raced one at Houston Raceway Park a couple of weeks ago. It wasn't much of a contest as the guy didn't really know how to run a quarter mile. It was a nice car, but not near worth the money that people have been paying for it, upwards of $50,000.
