not really, as long as you keep your stock parts everyone is A-ok. Oh and everytime someone orders an 09 srt8 they get more value in that car than the 08 since they are only building about have as much srt8s than they did 08s. keep buying them 08s.

 

putting a shaker hood on this car does nothing for it performance wise the intake is in the front of the motor if anthing it will make it more restrictive

 

they have done it on the chargers...and it can be done for this car.

 

Oh, Paladin, who would want one of those old beater 08s when the brand-new 09s are coming in? Yours doesn't even look like a Cuda or anything.

Aftermarket. Danko Reproductions and Classic Design Concepts have Shaker kits for the Magnum, Charger, 300.

Our Flat Hood has been made to work with the Danko and CDC Shaker kits.

 

There are companies that have made shaker hoods for all lx cars for a while.

IF I were to consider a Shaker Hood scoop, it would have to be more the size of the original. The "new type" shaker seems to be a bit short and to my eye doesn't look right. It doesn't appear to be right because of the shorter size and it loses the look of the original. (Just me thinking out loud, if you have one on your car and like it...great) I have a complete original Shaker Assemby in the garage......perhaps I could.......now if someone would make a flat hood.
