i thought that GM officially announced that they would not bring back the firebird.
They did. I must be out of the mainstream. I actually kind of like this one. I prefer it to that popular one that gets passed back and forth on the internet. I'm not into the 70s Firebirds either, I think the Firebirds of the 80s till the end looked better on the outside than the late 70s models.
