RE: Sorry Mopar, This Challenger lacks "It"
If they made a Mustang II (escort) that would accelerate 0-60 in in 4.9, I wouldn't buy it because it doesn't appeal to me. Is 7000 dollars a lot to pay just for slightly better or similar acceleration? Yes, it's too much.
The salient point being missed, is I'm not buying a zero to 60 machine (i'd buy a motorcycle if that were my intention) I'm buying a powerful, attractive embodiment of an era gone by with the improvements this era has to offer.
You can't put the right price on the wrong product, and for the majority of members of this board, the Mustang isn't the right product.
