I would have to agree if it was a short straight line. By short I mean less than a 1/4 mile. My wifes 2006 Mustang GT comes out of the hole well and picks up quick but that little V8 does not have the deep down Horsepower that the Hemi is bringing to the table. In my earlier post, I was doing well for a very short distance against a Charger but once the RPM's got up on that Hemi..I was staring at tailights.
What this appears to point at is the reason why earlier comparisons between the Charger and Mustang showed the Mustang being the winner they did not equip both with automatics and that if they both have same transmissions the situation can change which makes the case that the R/T Challenger equipped with a manual should win against the Mustang.
