Default RE: Blue Smoke from Exhaust on Startup

ORIGINAL: adaptabl

That doesn't sound good. Modern cars should be built with the correct parts and require almost no breakin. If your car is smoking it may of been built with the wrong size rings(they are computer sized for each pison on every engine). That will be a problem for the life of the engine. I would take it back and demand a new engine or car. You will get the standard "thats normal" answer. Ask them to start three cars in lot. I bet none of them smoke like yours. You spend good money and should of got a good car.

I kind of agree. I have bought plenty of new rides and NEVER had an issue like that. I would be at the dealer and raising cain.
