Famed forum member Steve Legel is in town for a dental convention, so he and I had lunch today. Yes, I picked him up in the Challenger (no garage queen here; it's out on the real downtown streets at high noon). Yes, he talked some guy into taking pictures. Yes, he promises to post them. And no, I didn't take him to a trendy tourist joint for Mexican food. Instead, I showed him the true San Antonio by taking him to an excellent establishment that's located in a former Pizza Hut building. Dining there is always an adventure, since between having to use broken Spanish with a wait staff that has to utilize broken English, you're never
quite sure what you're getting till it arrives.
