On the way home, while changing planes in Dallas, there were large advertising signs along the airport walkway walls. One sign is for North Texas Universtiy. Featured is an Alumnus, who works at Frank Kent Motors in Dallas (a multi brand dealer) The woman is standing next to Silver Challenger in the ad.

Oh...a San Antonio tourism note: The Bun 'N' Barrel is seen briefly in the movie "Selena," when her tour bus pulls up in front of it. To my knowledge, that never actually happened, but they filmed the movie in S.A., so I guess they thought it was a good location. The real Selena also never performed in front of the Alamo, but I did happen to see her perform one time during the annual Fiesta at Market Square, which also is in downtown S.A. Now back to our regularly scheduled programming....

I think the most beautiful aspect of all of this it is one thing that has drawn us all together. An artistic beautiful sculpture, formed of steel, THE CAR, The Dodge Challenger! How freakin' sweet is that? Cheers guys!

Think about this...
we have a great bunch of enthusiasts here on the forum...we've built friendships, help each other with information (and I get help with the collection, for example), some, like Bob and I have been able to meet., a group of us will meet in Las Vegas for SRT Experience, I am still open to setting up Mopars in Motown for next summer..
