Don't besmearch the K cars. They saved Chrysler when it was in severe financial straits. Too bad the company didn't have something like them waiting in the wings for right now. There probably wouldn't be any talk of a merger or the corporation getting chopped up and sold.
My family actually had 2 of those (and one of those was even a
wagon...), I know the K cars quite well, driven them quite a bit. While they were absolutely miserable cars, I will, however, give them their proper due in the role they played in saving Chrysler's bacon back in the early 80s. And, to be fair, the equivalent Ford and GM compacts at the time, the Tempo/Topaz and the Citations and such were equally as crappy as the K cars.

No Kevin, the new engines ones aren't real Hemis. The new ones are much, MUCH better than the original Hemis, as I'm sure anyone who has one will wholeheartedly agree.
