I concur with what most have already said. Only thing I would add, and purley speculation on my part, is even if the merger happens (which I hope not). I don't think GM would stop production of the Challenger. The combined company will need to consolidate product lines, etc., that everybodys knows, and as stated earlier, Brampton, to me would be way down the list given what it produces. Remember, they have DEMAND for these cars unlike most of their overall portfolio. I suspect they'd spend their efforts slashing SUV and truck overlaps, etc. before worrying about a niche unit that has good press, multiple internet forums, etc...would just be a very bad
PR move out of the gate IMO.
But then again...they don't seem to make many good moves...
