Default RE: 1st 24 hrs with my new R/T - full writeup

ORIGINAL: Paladin06

The drivers seat not folding forward is a safety measure not a cost saving. The lack of a hood struts is because it's an R/T and not an SRT.
Pardon my ignorance, but what is the safety advantage? If it is something to do with the integrity of the seat, shouldn't the passanger be safe too? If it is to keep people from getting out on the "wrong" side of the car, that's just silly.

I'm sure there's something I'm missing.
