Epegasus, these are exactly the things I am inquiring about. I don't believe the extra cost is unjustified. The SRT is definitely the "complete" package. No disrespect intended. I am just interested in hearing from those who have actually run these 2 head to head. Im sure the SRT would outcorner the R/T with the stiffer suspension and lower center of gravity. This is indeed better even for street racing. I'm simply saying that the cars seem similar in numbers and there are doubts to the actual horespower ratings of both that I would like to hear some real time experiences. I ve heard a local story of a stock SRT consistently beating a GT 500 even though the Mustang has 75 more hp and is alot lighter. I do appreciate everyone's opinion and if you are a Challenger owner no matter what model, you've made the right choice in my book.
