This kind of reminds me of the 70s, when I went to high school. The smack talk and all the road tests. Back then I drove a Hemi orange 72 340-4 speed Duster. And there were more Chevy and Ford boys than Mopar boys. But I took their money just the same. I was hot and heavy into street racing. We did our picking while cruising K-town and Concord, then early in the morning around 1:00 AM we would do our money runs. NOS was a sweet equalizer for big blocks and the look on their faces was priceless. My best friend had a 71 440-6 4-speed Challenger with a narrowed 9" Ford rear end and that was one sweet time racing in it. I can't remember ever paying out on a race in it. Those were really fond remembered days and this time we are in now has some of the flavour. We should enjoy these times and I'm glad the GT and SS boys can join in the fun too. These are the days.
