How come they make an Emblem that says...6.1HEMI, but not one that says...5.7HEMI? Wish I could get a set for my R/T. The 6.1HEMI emblems look cool on the SRT's.

 

Well, I found some cool 5.7L emblems, though they don't look the same as what's on the 6.1L.

Actually, the second attachment looks like it, and the Hemi badge is easy to find.

 

I've been kind of thinking of mounting script Challenger badges on the fenders, but above the bend like on the 1970 models and then getting a couple of 3.5 liter High Output insignias from a Charger and mounting those below the bend, where the R/T insignias used to go on the '70s.

 

You can get the "HEMI 5.7 Litre" emblem for the hood scoops @ latemodelrestoration.com. Also, picked up from herbsparts.com some original reproduction exhaust tips. The type that are the double square that together make a rectangle. Looks just like the 1970 model-cooool!

 

Speaking of emblems...

Has anyone run across the "CHALLENGER" emblem that was shown on the rear quarter panel of the prototype shown at the auto shows and all of the magazines? I have done some looking and so far found nothing like it. I think it might be a pretty cool addition to my Orange SRT-8.
