Default NO MiGig DVD NAV System

I just received my 2008 Challenger and surprise, no DVD/NAV MyGig system. I specifically ordered this component along with a sunroof. When my new Challenger arrived....niether was installed! The dealer is working on it now, but we don't know if it will be the same quality as factory. Does anyone else have any issues?

The dealer can install the same unit that is installed at the factory. I do know that it costs twice as much from the dealer than if factory installed. Hope the dealer works with you on price since you ordered it. I wouldn't think there should be a problem. Good luck.

I would buy another car that has it on it already . Could be trouble down the road and might hurt resale of car later .

The MyGig is an easy upgrade, but I'd pass on the aftermarket sunroof.

I agree completely.

Agree, you're spending too much large to have to settle for a "dealer install"

IT MIGHT BE TO LATE BUT I WOULD CHECK YOUR ORIGINAL VON# ON THE SHIPPER INVOICE AND THEN TO THE VIN AT THE MOMENT IT GOT ONE TO SEE IF THAT IS YOUR ORIGINAL CAR!!!! I HAVE HEARD OF SPECIAL ORDERS BEING SOLD TO OTHER (HIGHER PAYING) CUSTOMERS AND THEN GIVING YOU WHAT EVER COMES AVAILABLE LATER. BUT THEN AGAIN AT LEAST YOU GOT ONE.

We got the MyGig system in just in time for our New England road trip. The dealer even gave me $credit for the original radio. I helped the tech install the system, and it took all of 30 mins. For future ref, we had to attach the GPS antennae up under the driver’s side dash area. It is completely hidden and works great. If you do not have this system, please do not go after market. The system rocks. I drove the car through Time Square tonight and the nav is right on. The MyGig music system is well worth the $ and I wish I had the same system in my 2008 custom Toyota Tundra. When I return to NC, the tech and I are going to install the iPod adapter to the MyGig system, so I will keep you posted. So far we have gone 180MPH on I-95!

I call BS on the 180MPH.

We are going to need pics to prove your top speed.

What is the stock shut off point? 170 mph?

Roger that...SRT Engineers stated the top speed is 174, due to aerodynamics. But maybe it was down hill with a tail wind!
