I am looking at your sig. Did you get a 13.6 1/4 mile or are you basing that on your 1/4 mile times? A 2.1 60' is respecatable. Improving 60' times is mostly practice. My first time at a decent track, I was cutting 2.3 to 2.5 60' times because of wheel spin and wheel hop. My 60' times are now anywhere from 1.8 to 2.2

13.6 is very good. I need to take my stang to a 1/4 mile track. Here in San Diego area, we only have 1/8 mile tracks. My 1/8 mile times at Barona are in the low 9s. My best run is 8.8, but the Density Altitude at Barona is usually around 4000', so a 9.2 is actually a 8.87 and a 8.8 is actually about a 8.4. But I do have an intake/tune and LCA, so that help a bit.
This weekend I plan on taking my car to Qualcomm Stadium. They have an 1/8 mile track there. It's a decent parking lot but a crappy track. I hope to see some Challengers there. Mustangs that run street tires there normally run mid to low 9s, I assume Challengers would run the same.

Geez I HOPE these times aren't typical - I would have figured Mopar Muscle had better drivers than that. 15 second 1/4 mile for an R/T? My Camry could outrun that easily

no I don't think your camry could out-run an R/T...even if a blind person was driving...

Lol... Dude the R/T Auto has seen consistent times at 5.1 0-60... so I'd be willing to bet that the camry would be a whole second behind that... on top of that what juice does the camry have left to get to the 1/4 mile??? please... You do remeber your camry doesn't have a V-8 right???
I bet your camry at 100mph feels like your driving a 4 wheeler...LOL... In all fun and fairness lets be realistic...

I was specifically referring to the 15 sec 1/4 mile time for the Mopar Muscle test car. Even with the 0-60 6.2 sec and 14.5 sec @ 99mph from the Road and Track article... yes, even my 268 hp V6 Camry can keep up with those times (which I assure you I take no pleasure in making such a claim).
