This is a very good article. I find the article fair and very informative. One thing... if the Challenger had the SC like the GT500, it would of left GT500 way behind. My opinion...

I may be wrong but the Mustang had 18' tires and a 3:70 gear or lower. That would make a big difference in the 1/4. Challenger rocks. Waiting for my 09 SRT. 20" tires and a 3:06 gear does not make a good drag racer.

 

my mustang is my daily driver. It's ok for that purpose, but the suspension and road noise get a bit tiresome on exteneded drives. I'd be seriously inclined to get a challenger if it were an improvement on those two areas.
