I honestly believe this is awesome looking albeit for one thing, the mirros I'm not fond of. They look larger than that of the pre-prod model and look out of place. Maybe it's just me.
Yeah, the mirrors look really high. It seems the stem has two sections to it...I wonder if a section could be removed.

Perhaps a bit of bad news. Blow up the R/T high res pic and look at the hood scoops. They look like some kind of mesh insert instead of a butterfly!![:@]

Take a look and tell me what you think.

I think you're right but I also am hoping that it is open to a fresh air intake. Thinking positive here. OH NO!!!!!! I just noticed the windshield squirters on the hood! That's it! I'm OUT! JK! I'm not going to pick it apart as some are trying to do here. If they can't deal with a few small "issues" they weren't as pumped about the Challenger as us. Their loss-our gain. Overall it stays true to the heritage and looks to be worthy to carry the name. Waiting for the 09's!

Oh! Props to Townshend! Good eye and thanks!

it also looks as if the wheels may not be 20's...seem a bit smaller in diameter? I had seen the pic's of the silver SRT earlier today, and I like the R/T without the hood stripes better!-just need to have a 'retro-pac' option that gives you hoodpins w/lanyards!!

last night when I had blown up the high res pic I too wondered if the sccops had the butterflies or the mesh. There is no telling at this point other than I think it appears to be some sort of mesh. I would hope that it isn't what we think, but it too doesn't detract from the overall look. With that said, I'm still happy.

Actually, the "mesh" you're talking about looks suspiciously like the panels on the fake air intakes on the hood and sides of my 2000 Mustang. Oh, well, the '70 R/T model also had fake air intakes ...
