looks like a V6 challenger

 

Hopefully, it indeed IS an SE. Otherwise, the film might degenerate into an endless succession of burnouts and he'd never make it across the country.

 

I guess they used an SE so that the movie would last longer. With an SRT or even an RT the movie wouldn't have been a feature length movie as it would be over to soon....smart move using the SE............

 

like they used a /6 Plymouth Valiant in DUEL

 

you guys crack me up, the v6 will run all day long at 100mph so how is the
rt or srt going to be that much faster unless your claiming that your going to run 150mph all day long and then i would have to see it to believe it because there is no
way these big boats can maintain that speed over a great distance

 

Hey, just kidding...it's their movie and they can use whatever model Challenger they want. It's just funny to think of a movie such as "Vanishing Point" using a Slant-six model Challenger for a car chase movie.
Had it been my movie, I would have decked out the SE in SRT emblems...just for the image...(wouldn't be the first time they would have done it in a movie.....)
I just hope the movie is good...........
