I few thoughts I have about the Autoblog review. They stated the V6 engine as being a 4.5 (which such an engine does not exist at this time from Chrysler's current production), instead of a 3.5L. Some of the people reviewing this need to study the LX cars more closely before they start to whine about the rumor that the Challenger might use the 42RLE. The simple fact is in reviews, the W5A580 5-speed shows no real advantage over the 42RLE. The acceleration times are the same, fuel economy results are the same, the only difference is in the bragging rights. The 42RLE is less expensive to build and makes more sense to use until Chrysler either develops some new transmissions or reworks other ones that have a real advantage and can justify the extra cost.

What you haven't heard of the 4.5L engine? It's one of those secret special order engines that you can only get if you know someone who knows someone who knows someone. It's very unique indeed.

Jeremiah 29:11 click your link and scroll down to the first 2009 Dodge Challenger link. Find the spy shot for the Challenger. Click on picture to enlarge. Then again. That "Challenger only has dual headlights not quad headlights. The grille has only a center vertical post not a chome crosshair grille. Cuda maybe?

They probably misstyped 4.5, but I could be wrong.

I did enlarge it but then used some software to blow it up even more and it appears to be some material that is covering the inside lights.

The thing about a muffle is they really do disfigure the lines and it really make it tough to analyze anything about the car.

LOL! That's a good one. If the 4.0L Phoenix is going to be used in the Challenger, I wonder which transmission it will use. I can't image that the 42RLE could handle the level of hp and torque that it would produce. My question is if they are going to offer the 4.0L Phoenix, why not offer the current 4.0L instead of the 3.5L, or why not offer the 3.6L to replace the 3.5L? Seems strange to me is all.
