RE: Challenger shifts its power pitch
In hindsight, communism and socialism were great for America because they held down the economies of eastern Europe, USSR, China, India, etc. This left plenty of natural resources for the good old USA and gave us much less foreign competition for manufacturing jobs and other jobs. The 60's were really booming times. We should have just let more countries go communist and then laughed at them for being idiots. Now China and India are using up so many resources, they're driving up the price of steel and oil and they're making asian rice scarce. There's actually a shortage of asian rice in America now. Asians in America prefer it to American rice.
