I rec'd letter today offering to buy back my 08 SRT Challenger. Offer continues to say, I could apply the buy back money from Challenger against a new Jeep.

Made me laugh, not my idea of stepping up!

All companies do that.

 

I'd like to see what their buy back offer would be, you should go in just for fun and then tell them after that you needed a good laugh

 

As another said...dealers do it all the time as a way of increasing traffic by getting owners to come in and checkout what they have on the lot.
I continue to get these letters from my local Lincoln dealer (own a Lincoln Aviator "Kittyhawk") as well....they say they want/need your used car, but they really want is for you to buy a new car.
