hi guy's i'm new hear & i'm not that good on a computer.but what i like to know is are their a way to find out when my car is being built.i order a challenger classic on feb.2nd in knoxville tn.i ask the salesman were their a number or something he could give me for i could track it & he said no .he said he want know until it rolls up on the truck i don't thank he's up on a lot of stuff the way he acted

Once you have a VIN# and reach D1 status, your dealer can track the build and shipment status of your Challenger using the VINwin system. Don't let him tell you anything different. He just doesn't want to be bothered. You can also call the 1-800 Customer Service number.

Until recently, there was a way to access VINwin, but that loophole has been closed by Chrysler. I guess they like it the old way, when you would order a car and hear nothing until your dealer called and said that it was on his lot.

Ask the dealer for the VON number and his dealer number. Von number is the vehicle order number.
