Wow... Just read 15 pages on the Stang forum over this.
Guess it takes more then just PROOF. At least the debate stays on cars, and thats refreshing in itself.
Your biggest ney sayer has a signature that reads: 2001 Z28 M6 - 13.1 @ 108mph 2.1 60ft / Bone Stock and yet he has a problem with a sub 2.0 run on your R/T producing the same time and MPH?

Upon user request from USMCRebel who is having some probs registering here I have posted this for him:
stock traps are what for the r/t's 104-105...and he's only showing a 107.11 on the other time slips. removed air filter can net you a gain like that, but it's not stock (nit picky i know, but i race mine showroom stock.) he's done the low 13's, but is obviously an exceptional driver he's the john force of the mopar world. I'll give it to him.

I am still in need of video (just b/c i want to see you run and im not driving 8 hours to see it) I'm gonna say congratz on the run, It's not that im all it can't do it the car sucks, i am a natural skeptic of peeps on the internet, to many people making up bogus times and lies for me to believe them and pat them on the back. So i challenge ANYONE who posts up stuff like that whether it be chevy dodge or ford. If they can't back it then they're a liar, you've backed it up to the absolute fullest!

I have been defending the new Challengers for 2 years now and thats with folks who wanted one. Fat sumo sow is all I heard. Too heavy! We will get beat by the bow tie guys and the blue oval. Your post backs up what I have been preaching to guys on this forum... its a good package. Go have fun with it and enjoy what Dodge has put out. This is proof positive that you can go fast and have fun in a new Challenger. An R/T at that. If you could... next time your at the strip drive an 09 R/T 6-speed and let me know what kind of times you get. I have now made up my mind to get an R/T 6-speed instead of the SRT-8. I have been on the fence and I have fallen on the R/T side

Guys...I am glad to see they at least realize there is some potential with the new Challengers. It's a shame Dodge was not able to shave 500 pounds off them...that would make a world of difference. I will try to get some vid's the next time out.
As far as the Mustang forum guys are concerned, I look at them just like us. They are car enthusiest that want to outrun the competition...just as we want to outrun them. It's all in good fun and there was never any hard feeling!! I am just happy that at least some of the skeptic's realize I was being completely honest.
Now.....the upgrades will begin!! My Diablo Predator was shipped yesterday.......I am hoping for some high 12's with a 93 tune and no other changes. We will see.
