if it wernt for the mustangs going back to the retro look in 05, you wouldnt even have ur challengers!!!!!!
What are you basing that statement on. Is it also true that there wouldn't be an 05 Mustang without a new beetle?
And didn't the PT Cruiser preceed the beetle...

my buddies GT is running 17lbs of turbo boost and layin down 589rwhp and over 600fptq. and will pin u to the seat where u cant even move.this car runs with vipers and vetts and they dont even want a piece of it. he looks totaly stock and would love to put u in ur place. stop bashing and be happy with what u got!!!!! vynle
I'm sure everyone knows someone with a fast car, so what? Yes, if you turbo a V8 and get it set up right, it will go fast. A turboed Challenger will make great numbers as well.
That being said, I don't think that in general R/Ts are going to be going around spanking GTs. Out there on the streets, the GTs have been around a few more years, and therefore more of them are modded, and many times that will make up for the edge the Challenger may have when both are stock.
Anybody could equip thier 76 Pacer with a jet engine if so inclined... but I didn"t think we were getting into a my dads bigger than your dad argument.

...I like the Challenger and everyones entitled to pick their brand and be loyal. So keep the statistics coming and the trash talking going because its the way it was done back in the bad old days
Pretty funny that the Rustang guys somehow think they can step into a Challenger forum and try to convince us that their brand is just as good as ours though... funny stuff. Question is... why would they even think they need to... can you say "inferiority complex"...?? [sm=bustedsign.gif]

ROFL... All in fun guys. I have zero beef with Mustangs, or riptide. I have a bond with Rubberbndman and a love for the Challenger. Read my posts to date and you see I respect the Stang. I would bet I know more stang owners then anyone here. Its called bench racing, and just means the muscle car wars are on!

If anyone has a beef its those darn Edsel owners....

Humor is my only motive here.

Too funny Chris,
Same thing went through my head. I dont see the debate going on at stangnet, or corral.... Its on a Challenger forum, with new proud Mopar owners.

Its a little like having someone over for dinner and hearing something like "great food, but I could cook it better"

Oddly enough this all takes place at a forum called "DodgeCHALLENGER.com"

Kevin.... If I was going to go off the deep end... I would not do it over a car that feeds me steak daily.

I just saw a Challenger bro (holding his own), but getting slammed.

You cant imagine how many Stang owners I talk with everyday. The name of the thread says it all, and its been a very long time coming.

When misinformation is presented there I correct it as well. I've seen the occasional ignorant statement about how those "whales" of a car can't even keep up with a GT. Obviously this is nonsense so I step in. I do the same here when presented with the same type of "information". It just so happens I get called into action rather frequently here vs. the other forums I frequent. Something about the new "proud" SRT8 owners letting their imaginations run a little wild.

I don't have anything personal against Andre or mopar2ya. I just call it as I see it. Right or wrong. Same as they do.

yea but no matter the name of the sight you should have good educated people who can debate a topic without it getting rediculous.
But I agree you shouldnt expect to win an argument against the car in which the forum is based on.

Just so happens you see it wrong... but keep coming back and maybe one day youll see it clear.

Admittedly... I am not a ford or chevy fan... I am a Mopar fan through and through. There have been a lot of fairly lean years for all of us muscle era fans. We are definately in an extremely unique time... nothing like this has happened since the late 60s early 70s and like Lear said there is a huge similarity to the rivalry that was happening back then. Wait until the cramaro comes out... things will definately heat up then. As for the mustang crowd... they have gone unchallenged for a few years and have probably been lulled into complacency... the Challenger crew is fresh and STOKED!!

As I mentioned... huge MOPAR fan... on a Challenger forum. Are you going to convince me to like a mustang... sorry... just doesnt do it for me. And quite honestly... I seriously doubt it ever will. You can make all the derrogatory remarks and name calling you want... but you know what... it aint gonna change me. I will still be a Mopar all the way kind of guy. I am one of those who is a dyed in the wool diehard Mopar fan. End of story...

For me... Mopar or no car pretty much sums it up. If you dont like it... too bad... I am just happy as **** that those of us who have Mopar in our blood finally have a car worthy of the Challenger name.

Oh... and BTW... wouldnt bother wasting my time going to a mustang or camaro forum to tell them how badass my Challenger is... and if I did I wouldnt miraculously expect them to change... but hey, whatever blows your skirt up...

Have fun... be safe...

So... How 'bout that LS1?

Noone is trying to get you to LIKE a mustang. Only to accept the reality of the performance issues/comparisons.

you said it before I did

btw mopar I am frequently on the camaro forum and they respect the car but favor theirs. But AGAIN they respect the challenger and like it as well in certain aspects. Will they say they like it over the camaro ? NO but they respect it as should some of you mopar or no car guys.
