super charger
If things were normal and Chrysler had Millions in reserve... then yeah I think it would be a ggod question. But they are trying to survive and stay afloat. Supercharged vehicles would be such a small number of sales with tight profit margin. The money for R&D would be better spent on fuel mileage multi family transport vehicles. Get yourself into a better position financially then you can go for the SRT-8 supercharger type car and go head to head with GM and Ford. I think GM may also be rethinking the Z-28. They are in a similar spot. Ford already has a leg up on the R&D and can just tweek what they have to fill the order. So I think they have to pay the Gov. back and show some real progress back from the dead before they can even entertain the idea of a Superchrged vehicle.
It's sad to see Mopar in this position but you are spot on. They need to focus on saving the company before they car expand the line on Challengers. Money is tight and better spent in other ways.
