Default Wheel Weights

Has anyone noticed this??? I got my new R/T Chally home Saturday night. Of course, the next morning I started playing and inspecting. I have the standard 18" wheels that the R/T comes with. I noticed that on two of the wheels, the wheel weights are on the outside. There are no wheel weights on the outside of the other two wheels. I assume that they were done correctly and weighted on the insides. I think that is a terrible look to weight nice looking cast aluminum wheels on the outside. Any thoughts?

Default RE: Wheel Weights

In order to properly balance wheels it sometimes requires placement of weights on the outside of the rim such as yours. Some tire shops will honor a request to balance the wheels as close as possible without placing weights on the outside but this might not lend itself to as good of a balance. I am guessing they are going to do it the right way from the factory in every case.
