Canadian 4 platform models, different in the US??
Hi there, so I am failrly new to this car, I am a car guy true and true, but have noted on several car sites and forums that alot of the US sites don't mention the SXT model? We have 4 trim options here in Canada:
SE, SXT, RT, and SRT-8
The difference so far that I've seen are a few options, the SXT has the sunroof and upgraded sound system, cloth upgrade w/bolsters, and the exterior has the ground effects package w/ fog lamps. Is the same trim offered in the US?

There is no SXT trim level in the U.S. Here, you can only get SE, R/T and SRT.
I believe, however, that you can order all the SXT stuff for the SE. But in the U.S., it's still an SE.

Sounds like the SE G package. Except you have to order those options separate, there's no sunroof/sound package. I also don't know what the cloth upgrade with bolsters would be. I think the SE and R/T have the exact same seats. The only seat with bigger bolsters is the SRT. I actually found the srt seats too restricting and kind of uncomfortable (no I'm not fat).
I thought you could get the cloth inserts. Maybe not. My mistake. But I'm pretty sure everything else on the SXT can be ordered for the SE, one way or another.
LOL hahahaha, I did some looking around and you are right it's just a different package, the 26G package has Fog lamps, all wheel ABS and the optional sunroof.
