To all those that have received their 08 SRT8 Challengers congrats But I have a few questions while I toil away with my wait I know it will be hard to tear yourself away from driving and hell I will be honest when I got my first bike I sat in the garage for hours just looking at it when I could be out riding but could anyone give us more to salivate over

What do the floor mats look like Are they plain black or do the have Challenger logo on them See below

Do you use the key or just the start button Any words or opinion on that

How about the front license plate, how does that look I have yet to see one with it mounted and I live in an area where it is a law to have it on the front Pictures would be nice

Any comments on the MyGig Uconnect Nav system

How do the seats feel Especially in a hard turn

Anyone laying rubber yet Any comments on the rear end

I was wondering about the Keyless Go feature myself. Since its borrowed from Mercedes, I looked up the system on their site and heres what I found: MB Keyless Go Site. So the question is, do the Challengers have all of this feature? And where is the start button located on them? Is there a real ignition key in case of a problem with the keyless feature?

 

Yes the SRT8 for 2008 does. The start button is on the dash where you would put the key. Yes there is a real key.

 

Do I understand correctly, the face of the ignition lock in the dash doubles as the start pushbutton for keyless go?

 

Yes, with the keyless go feature inserted.
