did anyone else notice that the '09 SRT hood stripes appear to be flat black, not 'carbon fiber' looking? lots of new toys and gadgets for the '09's...I am starting to feel like a C-status stepchild waiting for my '08... I am questioning whether or not I should let the '08 go and order a white '09 RT....with as many calls as my dealer is getting from other dealers to see if they will sell their 08's, I should be able to negotiate a pretty good price on the first '09....


anyone else agree that perhaps the Dodge boys should have begun to deliver the '08's before revealing the '09's???

 

I noticed the same thing about the stripes. I suppose they are trying to make the 08 somewhat unique so people don't cancel orders. So, no Hemi Orange or carbon fiber in 09, what else makes it unique?

I have had crazy thoughts like you're having but I am hanging in there for an 08, but agree, should have delivered the 08's before showing the 09.

Good question... what else does the 2008 srt8 have unique to the 2009 also in c statice black..

 

I agree for the money we're paying for the 08 it should have special stand alone features, other than a numbered badge on the dash. It should always be exclusive of all other models. Period.

I really wouldn't mind the 09's coming out, if they would have told me when I was getting my 08. I understand what they're doing.;But as long as we have been kept in the dark, and coming to the CF trying to obtain whatever info we can, they should have eased our minds a little.

Cause, I can really see an RT, ordered just they way you want it looking quite attractive,easier on the wallet, and just as much power with better fuel economy.
But, I do like to be the first guy on the block and I do like the hemi orange with all the bells and whistles.
