Default 1700 mile road trip?

Greetings everyone,
I ordered a red '09 SRT8 6-speed for my brother-in-law (an early Xmas gift) and it's just arrived. We're considering whether to fly out and drive it back from Nebraska to California in a 30-hour road trip, or to have it shipped out here and take it for a more local inaugural cruise. Anyone have experiences positive or negative with three adults road-tripping in an SRT Challenger?

Thanks, and hope to have pictures in a couple weeks!

There was a guy here who did a longer trip and said it was a blast!

Yes, but a long road trip in a new Challenger.....that sounds like fun....Unless the driver has seen "Vanishing Point" to many times....then you may want to have the vehicle shipped to avoid any "sudden stops" along the way..................

I'll be taking a short road trip (370 miles) to pick up my SRT from Bob Frederick.

Your 1,700 mile trip sounds like an adventure, but I would feel sorry for the guy who has to sit in the cramped back seat.

I dunno but that back seat looks suspiciously like something other than a Challenger...
