Gosh guys, I feel humbled and thanks for the kind words.

I pray that I can be the person God wants me to be......but I am only human and do make mistakes.....but I always ask for forgiveness.

Thank you for being so open about your beliefs. It is really nice to be able to talk to another person who has such a strong faith in God.

We all make mistakes from time to time. As my one teacher told me, the difference between a Christian and non-Christian is the Christian sins and tries to do a better job at avoiding temptation.

God wants us to be open and share our faiths and sometimes I don't think about it unless it comes up in conversation.

That is what the Great Commission is all about:

Matthew 28:19-20

19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in [a] the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age."

I pray until I die, that I can share his message, make a difference in peoples lives, help my family to grow in the Lord and develop a closer relationship with him.

The only way to develop a closer relationship with anyone to communicate (talk and listen) and the best way to do that is to pray to him and read his word every day.

I would like to think that the acronym for the word Bible is Basic Instructions Before Leaving Earth.

Anytime you want to talk about it just let me know, after all we only have about 80 years on this earth and that is not very long.

Very true. Thanks for the offer. Perhaps we will have to add a special section for this topic.

Well it is one thing to have tried and true components but it is another thing to get them to all work together in harmony.

Car are getting so complicated that they are not using electrical signals but electronic ones to communicate via CAN, LIN, and MOST busses.

If you do not know what those are then you have no appreciation how complex cars are these days.

Firestone is in the news again as they can't seem to make a safe tire.

Ford had cruise control solenoids in their F150 trucks that liked to burn your car and your house down while it is parked in the garage.

How long has the F150 been manufactured?

Not to put DCX in the same ranks as the "F" companies but designs flaws and mistakes do happen and get overlooked.

Besides the 6.4L will hopefully be out by then. The anticipation is kinda like waiting for Christmas.

I have never been first generation person anyway. Blu-Ray or HD-DVD.....which one? I'll let you guys buy first and I will buy later.

Just some of my thoughts.
Well I referenced the CAN bus in cars back last year in July and here the Viper is advertising it:

Viper SRT10 Roadster
Pricing available soon.

600 hp and 560 lb-ft of torque
New cylinder heads, intake and exhaust manifold
New CAN based powertrain electrical system with electronic throttle control
Three wheel styles
Eight exterior colors

2008 Viper SRT10 Domination

The All-New 2008 Viper SRT10 is poised and ready to strike, with 600 thundering horsepower and 560 lb-ft of torque. An 8.4-liter V10 variable-valve timing (VVT) engine with an updated exterior—including a modified hood—take Viper's awesome power and styling to new extremes.

I guess having the newest technology makes it better.

The Viper's engine updates are using technology that although higher tech, aren't necessarily state-of-the-art. Dual independent-VVT is the latest VVT system I have heard and Direct Injection seems to be the most innovative technology in that department. The Vipe is using proven technology for the most part. Although the engine has received a serious update, it is still related to the LA series from what I understand. Besides, if I could afford a new Viper, I'd probably wait a year anyways just to be safe.

IMHO, don't let the spectre of 1st year glitches prevent you from buying the 08 Challenger.

Personally, I've had great success with first year production vehicles. My 84 Pontiac STE (2nd yr prod.) was a fabuously reliable machine. My 93 Eagle Vision Tsi (1st yr prod.) was also very reliable with problems coming after 5 years of ownership. My 96 Dodge Caravan Sport (1st yr prod.) was the best minivan and we still love it after 11 years. Finally, my 04 Grand Prix GTP (1st yr prod.) has been troublefree for 177,000 km (110,000 miles) and I'm enjoying every minute.

In conclusion, I would NOT hesitate to purchase the 2008 Challenger (1st yr production). Secondly, I believe DCX will fix any problems that may crop up promptly. Thirdly, I want to enjoy it ASAP. Finally, there will be a certain cachet about owning the first year Challenger. I believe the Dodge fans will love to scoop up my 1st year Challenger when and IF I sell it.

Jeremiah, thanks for your thoughts. Very much appreciated.

The '08 Challenger is being built in Brampton, on the same assembly line, by the same workers who built and are building the 300's Magnums & Chargers. The 6.1 has been around for a few years already and is bulletproof. The tranny is a Viper 6 speed with a slightly higher ratio 5th & 6th gear. The rear end will be Mercedes. With all of these proven parts I have ZERO concern about first year bugs. These are all proven parts, on a proven platform (LX) shortened by 4 inches. WINNER< WINNER< WINNER!!!

I agree with your statement somewhat but the LY is a different platform and while many of the major components are the same there are many that are not
and then there is the whole integration of new parts for the first time.
