Does anyone know when the (6 cylinder) SE models will be rolling off the line. The only information so far is "late availability". Heck, that could be next spring for all we know.

 

I heard they are now starting with the SE's at the first of August. Things change so fast with Dodge.....

 

They are only making a small run of SE's at the start of August and those are fast feedback cars for Chrysler employees

 

What are fast feedback cars?

 

Fast feedback cars are cars employee cars. Chrysler has X amount of fast feedback cars that employees lease internally, they drive them and any issues they have are recorded and sent to the engineer in charge of that part, IE glove box door rattles then that issue would be set to the IP Engineers.

 

My first 6 cylinder Challenger ships out August 1st and it is for sale not a "fast feedback" car.

Late availability is NOT accurate as I have several of them scheduled to build in August.

 

I thought the SE was slated first, but with Dodge I think someone flips a coin :-)

The rumor on this forum is that the 2009 R/Ts and SEs will be built before the SRTs.

Who really knows for sure?

Any idea when one can order the "Classic Edition" Challengers? They say "late availability" too.

AS of July 25th, I checked with my dealer here in Miami, and their status report still indicates that all SE models are "late availability".
