Attn Target Customers and other stuff
There is so much new stuff to share, including going to New York Auto Show, and a shopping trip to the mall
1. New York Auto show giveaway was poster of big ape, fay raye and Challenger atop Empire State building (NYAS Tie in)
2. NYAS "get your photo with Challenger on line promo
3. NYAS Program with two or three entries of Challenger
4. DETROIT NEWS Sun 3/24 coverage page in business section on NYAS had no mention of Challenger, BUT, cover page of classified car ads had 1/2 page dedicated to 2009 production Challengers, with photo
5. Trip to Target: I had seen a green 1:24 "1 Badd Ride" posted on ebay. My local target usually is good for that line, but did not have this green one. They did however have:
1:64 1 Badd Ride concept Chalenger in metallic lime green and bright orange
also: wood burning kit. Comes with wood blocks that you assemble into a car (none too fancy) and can use the wood burning tool to decorate. The car is listed on box as Concept Challenger and has easy to identify Ralleye Hood and front grill area. I have not opened to see what rear of wood car looks like.
Went to Borders to check on Automotive News for NYAS coverage, but magazine was not there, instead I found, "Extreme Muscle Cars" in the magazine section. Way toward the back is concept Challenger. Was published in 2006, so no data on SRT8is included.
There is a second Canadian Brochure making rounds on ebay. I think it went to dealers only as pre sale, and current limited availability of brochure, posted on forum, with black Challenger on cover

What's your favorite diecast Challenger toy out there right now? I haven't looked around much for them. Should I hit Walmart, Target, or Toys R Us first?

I'd do Target, for the 1 Badd Rides. Walmart second. I have not been to a Toys R Us in a long time.
Favorites are probably the set of three from Chicago auto show, no real reason.

we rarely find much of a selection at the major toy stores.
lately, we have been buying many of our items at a hobby store.
