Default Black or Chrome Cylinders?

I know I am goinna sound like a total newb right now but I have seen some pictures of 6.1's with black cylinders or chrome ones (the silver circles in the middle I guess there called cylinders because there is 8 of em) , how is this done? Just curious and can't find answers browsing.

I think he means the intake manifold.

The intake manifold on the 6.1 is silver and the 5.7 is black.

OMG lol

PIC ATTATCHED

Those big SILVER RINGS in the middle of the engine lol

i've seen ones online that looked chrome and a Daytona R/T's was BLACK but I thought the 5.7's had a cover on them.

Sorry I dont know anything about parts and stuff [:-]

YEA rudy...5.7s have them in black i think...

but alot of lx guys paint it...

there is a real nice setup for your color rudy...black chrome and then on the side where it says hemi paint that black with orange lettering or vice versa.
