30-32k and I'm there. If over, I'll find a used car, maybe another GTO, or Vette.

Newbie on the block

Yep I agree they need to make it under $30,000 and put a bunch on the road. I have always wanted one and now I can afford one for a reasable price.
I have already decided to buy one unless it is only being built for the elite like the vipers and prowlers.
This car can really put Mopar back in the game with americans like me. I love this car...

Under 30K, that will never happen.

I agree. Just look at the MSRP of it's brothers. Do you see anything less than $30K?

Not even for a base/stripped model with the 5.7 V8 Hemi ?????

This sounds really bad for us blue collar guys who WANT an affordable stripped V8 Challenger variant.
[:@][][&o]

Then Dodge will surely have TROUBLE then with this one......

When was the last time ANY manufacturer offered anything in a STRIPPED version? Everything on the market now has AC, power windows/door locks/seats/ etc.... the days of the bare bones Road Runners & Super Bees are long gone, I'm afraid. And when was the last time you could really order a vehicle EXACTLY the way you wanted it? Select only the options you felt you needed, and ignore everything else, without any bundled option 'packages'? Unfortunately, NO manufacturer makes those kind of vehicles anymore.... hell, I don'think you could get anything W/O A/C anymore if you wanted it...

Just keep in mind what year it is and DCX knows what price the market will bare. I'm not saying they will be terrible expensive but, under 30K is not realistic. I honestly believe between 32 (V8) and 35K (fully loaded Hemi) they will sell like hot cakes. The market will order faster then DCX can build them and that's just the flag ship year.

Keep in mind today DCX knows that most middle to upper middle class income car owners, and you know this must be the market, want, expect and are willing to pay the 30 to 35K price range for a quality well dressed out car. Throw in the high performance and it's, well, you know the price range just think about it.

Now as for the stang remember a ford today is still a ford.

Eveny my sons Mustang Premium GT with a 300HP V8 was $32K. Sure you can get it cheaper but not only the performance changes
but also the outside packaging changes significantly.
